Smart phones are changing our
world. There are more and more people texting the smart phones when
they wait in transportation. But what contemporary technology brings
us aren't always the benefits. Long staying on the couch texting your
phones may hurt your health. Glaring light may damage your eyes when
you play games and apps in the dark.
It's easy to
be addicted to the smart phones. But I won't overuse my phone. I
seldom use my Android smart phone on shopping or gamming, because the
screen is too small for me. I prefer larger screen computers for
surfing. Though there are smart phones with screen larger than 7",
they are too huge to be the cellular phones. I prefer Windows 8
transformer notebook computer which have both the benefits of Android
OS and traditional x86 Windows system. I have been using the
Windows-based software like Microsoft Office since I used
computer. It's not easy to switch to another platform.
Smart phones, which integrate the phone and tons of apps, are
changing our lifestyle. Apps such as Gas price, online garbage truck or
bus GPS routes, online shopping and gamming, weather forecast, can
make our life easier. People don’t have to rush for garbage trucks or
buses if they can find the positions from the smart phone.
Although there are many advantages of smart phones, some people
still like to use the feature phones. They don't want to plug into the
technological quagmire, reluctant to use the multi-functional smart
phones. Multi-functional smart phones may hamper the easiness of the
use of cellular phone. As for them, a phone is just a phone – to be
used to communicate. Overusing the apps and other online functions may
just waste their time, distracting their concentration on the real
world.
I prefer using smart phones, though there
are some side effects. It's not necessary to throw away the apple
because of the core. What we have to do is not to overuse the smart
phones. If we can take advantages from smart phones, life will be
easier.
